i want a mobile browser that can display websites just like a pc and play videos,like skyfire.unfortunately,skyfire does no longer work in my country.so what other browsers are there?i checked a few,but i couldnt watch videos on them.i have a windows phone.

On my HD2, it’s a windows phone I use Opera Browser. It’s like Skyfire.

Why would someone chose to use a .mobi website over a subdomain like mobile.domain.com?

Question by Magiccupcake: Why would someone chose to use a .mobi website over a subdomain like mobile.domain.com?
I don’t see what the advantage would be. Does anyone use one or the other and have a reason behind it?
When someone searches google through a mobile phone it shows results just like on a computer, doesn’t it? So a person would be scrolling for a while before they saw a .mobi site.

It is for websites specifically designed for mobile devices.
It makes it easier for a mobile device user to see which page will suit him when looking at Google results.
